In Memoriam: Prof. (Dr.) Palpu Pushpangadan (1944–2025)
With deep sadness for the Vigyan Bharti Fraternity, it’s painful to inform the passing of one of our Patrons, Prof.(Dr.)Palpu Pushpangadan, Former Director, CSIR–National Botanical Research Institute and a recipient of several National & International awards on 18 December 2025 at 11:30 PM. The funeral will be held today, 19 December 2025, in the evening.
1999 में पहली बार डा. पुष्पांगदन को मैं मिला जब आप एनबीआरआई में निदेशक थे उसके बाद हमारी राष्ट्रीय संगोष्ठी 2000 के लिए उन्होंने हमारा सह आयोजक बनना स्वीकार किया और तब लखनऊ से दिल्ली आने के लिए उन्होंने अनेक प्रतिभागियों के साथ संस्थान की बस भेजी.. बाद में हाल के वर्षों में उनकी ही इच्छा से हमने उन्हें संरक्षक के रूप में विभा दिल्ली के साथ जोड़ा
एक अन्य सुंदर अनुभव उन्होंने मुझसे शेयर करा था जब उन पर एक वैज्ञानिक भर्ती के लिए तत्कालीन मंत्री ने किस प्रकार दबाव डाला और कैसे उन्होंने अपनी शर्तों पर सिफारिश को मैनेज किया.
