IP Capital Symposium 2026 Brings IP, Finance and Industry Together to Unlock Innovation Value
New Delhi, September 17, 2026: The IP Capital Symposium 2026 brought together leading experts from IP, technology, academia, finance and industry to address a critical challenge for India’s innovation economy: turning intellectual property from protected rights into financeable and commercially valuable assets.
Organised by IP Reporter at the Constitutional Club of India under the theme “Technology Transfer & IP Financing” the symposium examined the complete IP value chain from technology maturation and valuation to financing, licensing and commercialisation.
Key discussions focused on Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs), IP valuation, IP-backed financing, technology transfer and IP monetisation, highlighting the need to bridge the gap between research and market deployment.
Supported by Siddhast Intellectual Property Innovation Pvt. Ltd., Swadeshi Science Movement of India (SSMD), National Intellectual Property Organization (NIPO), LoLocal and others, the symposium called for stronger institutional and financial mechanisms to convert innovation into market-ready, investable and revenue-generating assets.
The organizers announced plans to hold the International IP Capital Symposium annually on 17 September, establishing a continuing platform for advancing India’s IP capital and technology-commercialization ecosystem.
